Join us as a volunteer, speaker, or supporter to help foster youth find the opportunities, resources, and mentoring necessary to live an active, consistent, and sustained lifestyle.
Approximately 18 – 24% of college aged foster youth are in college or trade schools in New York State – but less than 3% graduate. Home of Champions is the only New York State program that screens disadvantaged youth for leadership and ability, and provides support and guidance.
The statistics speak for themselves: there are 40,000 youth in foster care in the United States. Of these 40,000, 42% do not complete high school and 25% either become homeless or incarcerated after aging out. Home of Champions is a 501c3 non-profit committed to making an impact on our recipients by providing foster youth with the tools necessary to become responsible leaders, change makers, and entrepreneurs of tomorrow. Our goal is to reduce the percentage of unemployed, homeless and incarcerated foster youth in New York State. We aim to provide opportunities, resources, and mentoring, as well as helping foster youth live active, consistent and sustained lifestyle.
To do this, we need your help. From volunteer opportunities and event support to donations and celebrity endorsements, Home of Champions is looking for committed individuals to make an impact on the future of foster youth. Your donations and support are vital to the success of our efforts. Together, we can provide a bright and promising future for at-rist foster youth.

Home of Champions is currently making improvements to our historic facility in New Paltz, New York. Located in the former home of and training facility to Golden Gloves and World Heavy Weight champions Floyd Patterson and Mohammad Ali, the home also served as a training camp for two World Super Featherweight Champions – Ingemar Johansson and Tracy Patterson.
The goal is to convert the boxing and training facility into the Home of Champions Community Center, which will house leadership, holistic health, and creative arts seminars. This renovation will come at a sizable cost, so we’re looking for support from local businesses, leaders, and celebrities to help fund the project.
