Home of Champions is a challenging, supportive home base where youth will have access to opportunities, resources, and mentoring, gain the knowledge to live an active, consistent, and sustained life-style, and develop the attitude necessary to become the responsible leaders, change-makers and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

The location was carefully chosen with regards to access to surrounding Colleges and Universities, and access to a unique opportunity-filled town center. A 1 hour and 15 minute drive via the NYS Thruway (I-87), or a short Trailways bus from midtown NYC (Port Authority), it is easily accessible to NYC. The bus station is within walking distance from the Home, which is less than 1 mile from the center of New Paltz and the campus of SUNY New Paltz College.

New Paltz is a charming town, lively with crowds of students, continuously catering to their needs and wishes. Our future champions will have multiple opportunities to mingle with other students in their free time.  They will also host them in our Community Center.

The property is the former home and training facility of Floyd Patterson, who was an undisputed boxing heavyweight world champion, originally initiated the structure of the Community Center. He built a professional boxing ring and facilities that served as a training camp for two undisputed world heavy weight champions – Muhammad Ali and Ingemar Johansson as well as Patterson’s son, Tracy Harris Patterson who became a 2nd generation boxing champion. The original boxing ring that the three champions held practice in is still the centerpiece of the future Community Center. The home has a history of facilitating world famous champions and serves as a symbol of top Achievement. We plan to continue the legacy.

The heritage will be an inspiration for Our Champions.
